Perpignan....Torture

You would think the south west of france, on the Mediterranean would be perfect for a relaxing week to recover from the previous 2 weeks of going out.

Wrong.

What I was confronted with was big long beaches where it was blowing it tits off for 6 straight days only not being able to hire or burrow any windsurfing or kiting gear. The other odd feature of perpignan is it must be the only european city that hasn't heard of football or even the world cup. Fabain has been pulling his hair out because there was a total of one bar in a city with a population of 170,000 that shows the football when the feel like it! Other than that, perpignan is a relatively quiet town with a lot of beach resorts. For the last couple of days, we have been pretty much just working on our tans and eating some healthy food for a change to try and get us fully fit to battle the night life of Spain.
